Beberapa waktu yang lalu kami sempat membawakan kabar sekaligus peringatan bagi pengguna Asus yang nampaknya akan mengalami masalah sistem kamera.
Melansir dari Microsoft, Windows 11 24H2 mendapatkan sejumlah isu baru dari adanya bug yang belum mereka selesaikan. Hal ini berdampak dengan gagalnya aplikasi atau sistem dalam menjalankan program.
Asus yang sebagian besar telah dibekali dengan fitur Face Recognition akhirnya mengalami dampaknya, di mana gagalnya menjalankan kamera memblokir akses ini.
Bug tersebut memang menyerang banyak akses, termasuk salah satunya performa yang mengalami Crashing di File Explorer maupun akses lainnya.
Microsoft juga menekankan bahwa kemungkinan besar pengguna Asus akan mengalami Blue Screen of Death error atau BSOD yang hadir di Windows 11 24H2.
Langkah yang mereka ambil saat ini ialah menghentikan ekspansi dari Windows 11 24H2 dengan memblokir beberapa firmware dengan model X415KA dan X515KA yang mana merupakan model seri laptop Asus.
Menurut sumber lokal, setidaknya pengguna Asus akan langsung mendapatkan dua masalah ketika menginstal pembaruan ke versi Windows 11 24H2, berikut diantaranya:
Apps Freeze Camera: This issue comes into play after installing the Windows 11 24H2 update. The update installs without an issue, but if the user launches the Camera app or uses any form of face authentication like Windows Hello, the apps/system freezes. The problem also appears in some third-party face-scanning apps. Microsoft has applied a compatibility hold on devices with face recognition support. But if you have already installed the Windows 11 24H2 update and face this issue, rolling back to 23H2 is a wise choice
VoiceMeeter: A classic case of driver incompatibility troubles the users post the 24H2 update. VoiceMeeter fails to work properly on 24H2 PCs and encounters a MEMORY MANAGEMENT stop code with a BSOD. It impacts all the users who use the app to mix audio from multiple sources. If you use VoiceMeeter on your 23H2 PCs, you won’t see the 24H2 update offer until the app developers release a patch for the driver’s incompatibility.
Perlu diketahui jika kamu menggunakan versi firmware seperti yang telah kami sebutkan di atas, alangkah lebih baik tidak mengunduh versi 24H2 dan menunggu versi lebih baru datang.
