Feeding Frenzy is a no-brainer game to help you out of boredom. In this game, you control a fish whose growth spurt depends on how many fishes it eats. The more it eats, the fatter it becomes. When it gets bigger, it can eat other fishes which was previously impossible when it was still a small marine predator.

There are challenges but not one of them is difficult enough to get frustrated with. The game is kind of repetitive but the sound of the predator gobbling the poor fishes sounds nice to the ear.

Features and Highlights

You don’t need strategy to play this game. You just need to let the fish eats as many as possible. Some fishes are more quick to react to threats which make them slightly harder to catch. As soon as they are within a certain distance from a threat, they will attempt to run away. Most often than not they can only be caught when you use a skill called Fish Dash Attack, which could also be your savior when bigger fishes are approaching.

The suction ability also helps you eat even more fishes. It gives your fish the ability to suck in everything in front of it. It is, however, only effective at a short range, so you’ll have to combine it with the speed dash sometimes to be able to catch those fishes which have sharper instinct to threats.

As you progress through the game, the fish gets bigger. And when it does, you will find there are more fishes to eat, and the sound of gobbling gets louder.

Two modes are available in Feeding Frenzy: Normal and Time Attack. Both are not that different but the latter is more difficult to play because you have to complete missions in a limited amount of time. In other words, it is a time based mode.

The challenges in this game is not limited to bigger predators only. There are hazards such as jellyfish which sting any fish that touch them. They can be helpful to you when they sting bigger fishes, but you have to be careful since they can also sting you, which will put you in a vulnerable state since you won’t be able to move until the effect of the sting is over.

There are also Poison Minnow fishes that you can swallow but they will reverse your controls making it somewhat harder for you to move around. On the other hand, there are Golden Minnows which fill your growth bar to the next level but hard to catch.
