Microsoft Office 2016 makes it easier to collaborate on a document. When someone else in your team is making changes to a shared document, you can see the changes in real time. When a line is being edited, others are locked out so they cannot edit the same line.

Occasionally you may find someone make some changes to a document that are not supposed to be made. This is the time when the new version history panel is really helpful as it can restore an old version of a document in a snap.

Smart Lookup is a part of Microsoft Office 2016 that lets you search an information on the web without leaving whatever you’re working on. It uses Bing as the search engine, and the search result appears in a section near the content of the document.
